  • I provide three levels of professional editing: copy editing (correcting grammar, punctuation, and consistency), line editing (enhancing flow, clarity, and sentence-level craft), and proofreading (final polish before publication). Each service can be tailored to your manuscript's specific needs.

  • My primary focus is memoirs, self-help, history, and business/entrepreneurship in both fiction and nonfiction. That said, I'm experienced across a wide range of genres and happy to discuss projects outside these areas.

  • Start by reaching out for a complimentary consultation. We’ll discuss your objectives, timeline, and audience, then craft a tailored scope of work for your approval.

  • Each project includes two rounds of revisions to ensure the final deliverable aligns perfectly with your vision. Additional rounds can be added as needed.

  • We'll start with a consultation to discuss your manuscript and goals. I'll provide a sample edit of one page, or 500 words, so you can see my approach, along with a quote and timeline. Once we agree to move forward, I'll edit your manuscript and return it with tracked changes and comments explaining my suggestions.

  • Timelines vary based on manuscript length and editing level required. Typically, I can complete 50,000 to 80,000 words within three weeks, though rush services may be available for an additional fee.

  • Rates depend on the type of editing needed and your manuscript's condition. After reviewing a sample of your work, I'll provide a detailed quote. I'm happy to discuss payment plans for longer projects.

  • Yes, I provide a complimentary sample edit of one page, up to 500 words so you can evaluate whether my editing style suits your needs before committing to the full project.

  • My role is to polish and enhance your voice, not replace it. I make suggestions and corrections while ensuring your unique style and message remain intact.

  • Microsoft Word (.docx) is preferred, as it allows for easy tracking of changes and comments. I can also work with Google Docs if that's more convenient.

  • Absolutely. Your manuscript and all related materials are kept completely confidential, and I'm happy to sign any necessary agreements before we begin.

  • Once the scope is agreed upon, an invoice detailing payment milestones and due dates will be issued. A 50% deposit is required for all projects. Payments can be made via Venmo, Zelle, or check.

  • Your satisfaction is my priority. If you have concerns about the editing, we'll discuss them and I'll make reasonable revisions to ensure the final product meets your expectations.
